This flowered crochet bolero was kind of an experiment in terms of yarn and in terms of style for me.
Vision.
In 2011 I first time tried to crochet a bolero with silk yarn. I think it ended up being a total success! I really like to work with silk yarn and it was pretty easy to style for beach wear or as a touch-up on top of dresses or tops.
Yarns.
I used two different types of silk yarns for this crochet bolero. One yarn was very tightly twisted and the other was not twisted at all. The yarns of this crochet bolero had different shades of red as well.
You might have guessed already that both of these yarns were leftovers from another two projects. The main yarn of this garment was a leftover from this flowered crochet skirt.

Final thoughts.
Although I crocheted this bolero a long time ago, I am considering remaking it in different colors. Maybe even in two different styles, one can be flowered, and another may be with other crochet motifs.
